A ‘Game’ For Avid SCOTUS/Con Law Fans!

FANTASY SCOTUS!

My former professor is #2 on the leaderboard. She’s an expert in Media Law, and is an advocate for The Innocence Project.

Regarding the game, you basically read the case briefs (of the current term), analyze and interpret the constitutional questions being asked to the Court, and predict how the case is going to be decided, and which way each Justice will vote.

About to watch BBC’s Pride & Prejudice for the third time this year.

Much better than the Keira Knightley adaptation. Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle make the series a masterpiece.

Beautiful cover!

As of one minute ago, I am officially done with the semester!

Two more essays and I’ll be done with this semester!

Having taking ‘Radicalism in U.S. History’;  I now understand why ‘Liberal’ is such a dirty word. The politics of the Left is mind-boggling and just so complicated.

‘Conservatism’ starts getting ugly with the rise of WWII, and the full effects are felt when the Liberal Revolution dies in Dec. 1969 and again, when Reagan and the Religious Right emerges in the scene in the 80s.

Vietnam, Watergate, and the 70s Recession brought an end to the American Left Revolution.

Clinton, Obama have fueled the rise of the Left, in adopting its progressive cores, but even with Obama; he is still far away from being a true Left. He’s more of a Center-Right.

Spending my afternoon writing essays on radicalism and protests during the 60s/70s/80s in America.

Specifically on The Weather Underground Movement, Stonewall/ACT UP, and the Civil Rights/Poor People’s Campaign.

Such fun!
